Cuteness Alert

Today's moment of cuteness via the Panda Cam: Tai Shan curled up in one of his favorite toys (a rubber feeding tub) with a soccer ball, having a nap. Too, too adorable. And be sure to check out Animal Planet's "A Panda is Born," an hour-long documentary about the National Zoo's long efforts to breed pandas, which resulted in Tai Shan's birth in 2005. (It's wonderful to hear professionals sucked into his cuteness vortex, cooing even as they're taken measurements and monitoring his growth, and forcing themselves to resist over-anthropomorphication. (is that a word?)
