Will This Be On The Test?

As a teacher of academic writing, I don't get that question. I get the usually unspoken attitude that announces, "I already know how to do this." Or, its corollary, "I don't need to know how to do this." But this song by Tom Chapin definitely hits home, particularly the part about the lack of reasoned argument...
