The Day We Found a Dinosaur
Okay, not really. But this is from last August when I was too busy to blog. (Oooh, there's a new blog title!) The GF is expertly chiseling away at shale at the Penn Dixie Quarry in Western New York. She's in search of trilobytes; I, having found lots and lots of horn coral (not hard to do in the middle of a fossilized coral bed) decided to wander off and take photos of leaves and grasshoppers. Still, lots of fun on a hot summer day.

Apparently, I misspelled "trilobite." Maybe mine are the kind that live in computers. It could happen.
