Cool Dad
So, I got my birthday card from my dad, and it's a musical card that plays (of all things) "I Wanna Rock & Roll All Night (and Party Every Day)." Yes, my dad picked out a KISS card.

Who knew we would have such a cool Dad. He's great. He may not have been the dad we wanted when we were young, but he is the dad we love and need now. Dad comes by almost every weekend we aren't away at dog shows. He brings us copies of old photos, and great stories. When I realized Mom was really dying and leaving us, I grabbed Dad, forced a hug on him (yes, you must force such physcial displays of affection upon him), and told him that I needed him. He kind of stepped back for a minute, then said he would always be there. And he has, through a kinda nasty divorce from a man who said "Your dad loves me best". Wrong. Our Dad loves us best. He always did, he just had no idea how to show us. And now, he sends us stuff like KISS birthday cards. Because he IS cool.
