As for my recent (well, two weeks ago) trip to Philadelphia to MLA: to all folks who've lost weight, I say, "Try on your clothes in advance. And not the day before." My standby navy suit (the one that makes me look like a flight attendant) turned out to make me look like a little girl in her mom's clothes. Not the look I was going for. Today I added a gray wool peacoat (yea after-christmas mega sales at sears) so that the new suit isn't overwhelmed by the fabulous old coat.
I'll miss you, fabulous old coat.
Now, to get those pants hemmed.
