Which I'm getting better at--just ask my friend Amy, who, after getting in my car this afternoon, asked if that crack in the windshield had been there before. No, that would be the result of the guy in the cherry picker who dropped a cable from whatever he was doing on the power pole outside my house. And neither he nor his partner checked to see if there was damage. And I was too cranky to think to look. (I put on my teacher voice and said, "Can I move my car before you do that again?") But we tracked 'em down and got the appropriate info. And I was already to get up on my high horse when I called their boss. But he was nice. So we'll see.
