We had a lovely trip to the zoo today, and one of the last sights we were treated to was Kirina the young Asian elephant playing in the elephant plunge pool with her latest toy, a hunk of corrugated plastic pipe. Here you see her making her way out of the pool, kicking her toy along as she goes. She splashed and lolled and begged for treats from her keepers--an excellent way to enjoy a sunny summer day!
