My new friend Holly, who is well on her way to becoming a brilliant theologian, shared this quotation with me. It comes from Carol Christ's She Who Changes (p. 225)...
"If I think of my life so far in terms of what I have accomplished, I can feel sad and depressed. There are many things I have wanted to achieve yet have not. But if I think of my life as a process unfolding, I see it differently. It is more important that my life has been interesting and that I have been passionately interested in life, than that I have achieved or not achieved certain goals."
