You know it's an election year...

...when I'm actually starting to make decisions about what I think. I'm a waffler, big time. And often that's a good thing, because I take time to understand something from as many angles as possible. And I'm not as likely to stick my foot in my mouth, as I did yesterday when I lauded Jon Stewart's response to Mitt Romney's concession speech to a student (not one of mine, thank goodness) who turned out to have actually Been There. By choice.

Anywho, here's what's pissing me off: Bush telling me that I'm less safe because Congress is balking at extending his invasion of our civil rights known as Warrantless Wiretapping.

I want a fancy name for all of my foolish and illegal choices. Like, Handless Steering. (Okay, sometimes I file my nails a bit while driving. I KNOW it's stupid, that's my point!) I would like cool names for the following foolish (if not necessary illegal) behaviors:
1. Buying coffee in paper cups because I'm too lazy to bring my travel mug.
2. Biting my nails.
3. Retail Therapy.
4. Using disposable mechanical pencils (I can't seem to get the hang of the refillable kind...)
5. Wasting time online when I should be doing any number of other things.

Help, anyone?

I think number 3 already has a name with a nice ring to it.

And I bought myself a refillable mechanical pencil at Staples. Let's see how long that lasts. I already lost the extra erasers under my car seat.
