"I'm a student at ____(Im not in any of your classes). I know this might sound strange but I wish someone would have told me earlier so I 'm just going to tell you. Please don't take offense because this is purely to help you because i had the same problem. There is this special antiperspirant called Certain-Dri (im sorry for even bringing this up but its amazing and has changed my life) you can buy it and many pharmacies and it works! I never thought antiperspirants worked (bc none EVER did but this one does!) I know this is random and kind of strange lol but i use it and wish someone would have told me YEARS ago abt it. Anyways, have a nice day."
Lovely. Now, apparently, after only one day of classes, students find it necessary to discuss that I had pit stains on a 90-degree day. Good. Freaking. Lord.
I need a drink.

I am thankful that students, if nothing else, give me a reason to have a drink at the end of a hard week. Drink up for me sister. And I'm with you on the pit stains. It's so freaking hot here. I don't even want to talk about it.
Yes. The back to school post that I did not post this year is that I WILL pit-out, even if it is NOT 90 degrees, when I teach.
My strategy (because I will not resort to chemicals or botox) is wearing light weight t-shirts under light light light weight cardigans, or loose many-colored blouses.
I still sweat, but the clothes don't show it (as much). I also often bring a shirt to change into so I'm fresh mid-day. Because once I start sweating, then I'm sweating because I'm embarrassed I'm sweating. :)
isn't this spam? i'm sure this is spam. i'm sure i've gotten a nearly-identical form of this email to an address i've never even used from someone who didn't know me or my armpits at all.
so i wouldn't sweat it. har har har. :)
