2. received a call a short time later from another friend, who was able to remember the word.*
3. worked at Barnes & Noble so that I could take magazine-reading breaks.
4. had trouble getting out of bed. it's cold, i have too much work to do, and i just don't wanna.
5. wore the fuzzy peach fleece vest with brown trim i bought last fall that goes with only two shirts i own. and i thought it was a bargain. yeesh. (and no, aerobil, i'm not sending it to you...yet)
6. read blogs regarding angelina jolie's purported description of her baby as a "blob." cheered those moms who said, yeah, well, a newborn is kind of light on personality.
7. no, really, that was for the diss.
8. discovered that the frozen mac&cheese (organic) that i'd purchased has 470 calories. how much broccoli do i have to eat with it to counteract that?

Best of all, received an ever-so-slightly-belated birthday package from my eldest sister, which, as she promised, made me a bit homesick.
