sick day

When you work from home, what does it mean to take a sick day?
1. Wear sweats over pj's.
2. Walk dog early, then stay in bed 'til noon.
3. Wish GF could come take care of you.
4. Immediately feel guilty for wanting someone to take care of you.
5. Go through two day's worth of email.
6. Consider doing significant intellectual work.
7. Decide to take shower instead (see #1).

For me the sick day means
1. Wear pjs all day'
2. Read an entire novel (in this case, a Jane Austen mystery)
3. Do not leave the house at all
4. Take nap at 12 when Son and Middlebrow leave for school
5. Eat popcorn on the couch
6. Watch Ellen

That's pretty much it. If I can work in a viewing of "Grease" or "When Harry Met Sally" all the better.
