Call for Proposals: I want to put together a mix tape (burn a CD, save to my MP3 player, whatever) of songs that encourage us to get moving, to work through whatever's bugging us. Yes, motivational music. Here are two songs to start with:
1. "You've Got To Get Up Every Morning (With a Smile on Your Face)" -- Carole King
2. A track from Jody Watley's new CD (not sure about the name, but I heard a snippet this morning)
Okay, whatcha got?

Excuses by Alanis. I'll send it to you via email.
Jumpin' Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones and Everybody Dance Now (I think that's the title) by C&C Music Factory. Oldies but goodies that get me goin'.
"Float On" by Modest Mouse...any song with the lyrics "I backed my car into a cop car the other day
Well he just drove off sometimes life's ok" works for me!
And corny as it sounds, "Footloose" makes me want to fet up and dance every time.
"Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. My new favorite song!
