Witnessed this morning via the National Zoo's Panda Cam: Mei Shang wrestling her recalcitrant cub Tai Shan from the exhibit area (where he likes to play on the "rocks") to their den. He's too big for her to easily pick up by the nape of his neck, so she has to either scoot him along the floor with her massive paws, or grab him by the nape and drag him along.
Tai Shan, of course, draws upon the Toddler Instinct to resist: he goes limp, lying on his back in passive refusal.
Mom won.
