We made an offer on a condo in our urban home-to-be--a bright, sleek, 2-bedroom/2-bath in a pre-war building...with a doorperson! All I can think of is tv shows I watched as a kid--the Jeffersons, or Bob Newhart, or Rhoda: "Hello, this is Carlton your doorman." It's just a completely different world, for both of us.
