Wonder Dog

We often refer to Maddie as the Wonder Dog, because she's so wonderful. Most of the time. Now, we're just wondering: Is she a dog? We live in an area with lots and lots of maple trees, and this time of year, they all go crazy and deposit seeds everywhere. Our yards and driveways are coated with those little whirlygig things. Maddie has taken to nibbling on them, like the squirrels do. She picks one up, chews on it delicately, then spits out the papery bits.

She's a wonder, all right.
