Blog On

I have been remiss in keeping up with the blog. But alas, I have been remiss in many things. Chalk it up to utter exhaustion: my job search has taken me to six schools in six different states in as many weeks. Ah, sleep. (I haven't even touched the clarinet in four weeks.)

But I don't want to talk about all this. I have so little control over this process at this stage, that I want to think about other things. (Yes, Scarlett.) So, I'm going to begin a series of short entries on the objects I find around my computer. Enjoy my attempts at creative non-fiction snippets.
