isn't it called a snow *blower*? how does one *throw* snow?
" Craftsman 4 hp Gas Snowthrower
Sears item #07188140000 Mfr. model #88140000
Snowthrower ideal for light snow with the ability to take in 6-8 inches of snow. 4 hp Briggs & Stratton 4-cycle engine for the convenience or no mixing gas and oil, reduced vibration and noise, and lower emissions for better performance."
Okay, so a snow *blower* can handle more than 6-8 inches? Is that the difference? And thanks so much for the model number, you silly girl.
I just wanted you to have an actual quote, as more authoritative evidence.
In other words, I have no clue why they're called snow throwers, yet all of us call 'em snow blowers.
At our house, we call it a "Tom." And it doesn't have a model number. It's one of a kind.
